We read through the expert editors’ “best places to go in 2019” articles in 14 major travel websites/publications to find out where the experts agree. Based on their 387 suggestions, only 7 countries garnered 40% of the votes (United States, Canada, Australia, Italy, France, Mexico, and Germany), and 25 individual destinations received the most votes.
Note: We will update this section after the pandemic is over. For now, you can use the “best destination” lists for post-2020 travel ideas.Â
